Introducing a New Spin: Software and Security Weekly
I promise this will probably be the last rebrand...
It’s been a whirlwind of a year: two market-based layoffs in 6 months, 3 months without a job, launching and failing at my first SaaS startup and starting a job in a brand new space in security.
And we still have 3 months to go…
Instead of waiting until 2024 for the “new year, new me” nonsense, I’m starting something new now. Startup Security Weekly was a great experiment for publishing advice on securing tech startups, but I’ve decided to pivot toward my bread and butter: software and security.
Software and Security Weekly is a weekly wrap-up of the goings on in the software and security space, from breaking news to cutting commentary. I’ll try to keep it objective but I’ll be injecting some of my own flavor in it, as well as some of my own research into different topics.
I’ve already got a couple of articles started for this publication, so I look forward to tossing it into your inbox like a hand grenade you didn’t know you wanted. For those of you who came for Startup Security Weekly, I understand if you want to unsubscribe. Pivots can be jarring and irritating. That said, I guarantee you that this new newsletter will bring you some serious value as well.
